 Eligibility Requirements

Potential first generation college-bound students (whose parents did not complete a four-year degree) and/or students from families meeting federal taxable income guidelines (please note that taxable income is different from gross income).  For current program eligibility income level guidelines, please see the table below.

Students who attend Hibbing, Chisholm, Nashwauk-Keewatin, or Cherry High School.

Students who are in their freshmen, sophomore, or junior year of high school.  If entering the program for the first time in the summer, students who have just completed 8th grade and are “rising 9th graders” are also eligible.

You may also pick up applications from your high school guidance counselor or check the following locations:

  • Hibbing High School – applications are located on the bookshelf across from Guidance Counselor, Mr. Hintz’s office
  • Chisholm High School – applications are located in the Guidance Counselor Office
  • Cherry High School – applications are located in the main office
  • Nashwauk- Keewatin High School – applications are located in the Guidance Counselor Office
