Admissions
Accepts applications, immunization forms, high school and college transcripts.
Records and Registration
Prints or sends out transcripts, assists with registration and petitions, and processes withdraw requests. The records office provides applications for graduation, sends out probation and suspension notices, and assists with Veterans Benefits.
Financial Aid
Your resource for applying for scholarships, loans, grants and work-study assistance. Some awards have priority deadlines, apply early!
Business Office
Don't forget to pay your tuition with a stop here. You can also get information on deferred payment options. Financial aid is disbursed in the business office approximately the second week of the semester.
The Career Center
This is an important stop if you want information about careers and how to choose the one that's right for you. You can also review college catalogs, placement statistics, and job openings.
Counseling and Advising
A staff of professionals is here to assist with academic planning, career decision making, and personal issues.
Multicultural Services:
A service organization dedicated to the promotion of awareness and understanding of all cultures in the school and community.
Student Support Services
A federally funded program to help eligible students in an Associate Degree program or those planning on transferring. If you meet these qualifications: low income, first generation (neither parent received a bachelor's degree prior to your 18th birthday), or documented disability, you will receive extra support at HCC. Contact Student Support Services at (218) 262-6774 for a grant application.
Office for Students with Disabilities - Room L112 in Library
The Disabilities coordinator, provides arrangements for accommodations, advocacy, support, and referral information for students with various types of physical, psychological, or learning disabilities. To make an appointment email michellechamernick@hibbing.edu.
Depending on your need, accommodations such as note takers, enlarged text, extended time for testing, and textbooks on tape may be available to you. Call 218-262-7246 to arrange accommodations.
Cardinal ID
Contact the student services appointment desk to obtain your Cardinal student ID. - You will need this to check out library and recreational equipment and to use the weight room.
- Students taking online classes only can make arrangements to receive their card by calling 218-262-6774.
- There is a $5 replacement fee for lost ID cards.
