About Assessment Testing
To promote your success, we require that new students take assessment tests in math, reading and English before enrolling in credit courses. These tests do not affect admissions eligibility (unless you are a Post-Secondary Options (PSEO) student); instead, we use them to give you and your academic advisor important information about your skills so that the classes you are in will be a good fit. In short, assessment testing is your first step toward success in achieving your educational goals.
