Information on using your account:
- User name: first initial, first four of last name, last three of student ID Example: Benjamin Smith 00000549, your user name would be: bsmit549
- Password: Your birthdate in this format: YYMMDD (for example: Feb 12, 1980 is 800212).
- Your new email address will be: username from above@hibbing.edu Example: bsmit549@hibbing.edu
To change your email password, log in to your email account, click on the “options” icon found at the very top of your Novell window, change and confirm your new password. To forward your campus email to your personal email account, view the following Animated tutorial or PDF file.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using MSN, AOL, Juno, or various other Internet Service Providers, you may need to do the following. Connect with your Internet Service Provider as you normally would, minimize that window, open a new Internet Explorer window, go to our campus website, and click on "my email".
