April 9 @ 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. or 3 p.m.          
April 10 @ 3:30 p.m.         
April 17 @ 3:30 p.m.         
April 24 @ 3:30 p.m.
May 3 @ 3:30 p.m.
May 8 @ 3:30 p.m.

Liberal Arts:     3:30 p.m.      April 19, May 10, 16, 24
Technical Programs:   3:30 p.m.      April 12, May 15
PSEO Students:     will register with Lisa/Donna 

Make a reservation for one testing day & one registration day.
 
PLEASE NOTE:  YOU MUST TEST BEFORE YOU CAN REGISTER!
 If the day you want is not on the list, it is FULL.   Please choose another date.

  June and July dates will be posted at a later date.

 How do I know what registration session to choose? 

Liberal Arts – taking generals, transferring to a 4-year, pre-nursing, engineering, Associate of Fine Arts.
 
PSEO – if you are doing PSEO, please indicate PSEO as your major (you may select any of the testing dates).  After you have tested, you will schedule an appointment to meet with your advisor (Lisa or Donna) individually to register for classes.
 
Technical programs: 1 or 2 year career programs such as:  auto, diesel, medical lab tech, etc. 
 
Information needed to sign up:   Your name, HCC ID# (found on acceptance letter), major, phone #, email, and session dates (please note:  reservations must include all of this information!)  Don’t forget to sign up for one testing and one registration day.

    ***IMPORTANT NOTE: *** 

Please bring a photo ID with you for testing!

All new students are required to take placement tests in Math and Reading.  You may contact a MN State College closer to your home to complete testing if needed.   If you have taken the Acuplacer tests at a college or university other than a Minnesota State College or University, it is your responsibility to have the scores faxed to HCC at 218-263-2992.

Immunization information and application fee must be paid prior to registration.

Please note:  You must email star@hibbing.edu if you need to change your reservation, have questions, or need to schedule a re-test.

If you decide to take the Accuplacer test at another MnSCU college, please indicate you are testing for Hibbing Community College (they should log in to HCC's site) and ask for "# 1 HCC NEW" branching profile.
